C-UAS Grant Eligibility
Congress has allocated $875 million in federal grants for counter-drone programs. Learn which programs your agency qualifies for and how compliance software like VectAero can be funded.
FUNDING LANDSCAPE
$875 Million in Federal Grants for C-UAS Programs
To support SLTT agencies in standing up compliant counter-drone programs, Congress authorized significant federal funding through multiple grant programs. These funds can cover equipment procurement, officer training, compliance management software, and operational expenses.
Under the interim final rule (28 CFR Part 124), compliance with the rule's requirements — including approved Operations Plans (§124.8), officer certification (§124.5), and implementation policies (§124.6) — is now a prerequisite for grant eligibility. Agencies that cannot demonstrate compliance risk disqualification from future C-UAS grant funding.
With the FY2027 grant round approaching, agencies should begin preparing applications now to position themselves competitively.
