How VectAero Works

Five integrated modules that cover every SAFER SKIES Act compliance requirement — from officer certification to federal grant funding.

01

Certification Tracker

The Problem

Under §124.5, officers need individual certification at two tiers — Detection & Warning (online, free) and Mitigation (in-person at FBI NCUTC, Redstone Arsenal). With dozens of officers to track across both tiers and the validity period still under consideration (36 or 48 months), agencies risk deploying officers without the correct certification tier — a federal violation.

What It Does

VectAero tracks both certification tiers per officer — Detection & Warning and Mitigation — with automated expiry alerts at 90, 60, and 30 days. Tier coverage is shown separately on the dashboard so you always know your operational readiness.

Key Feature: Agency Compliance ScoreReal-time percentage of your force that is currently certified, visible from the dashboard.
02

Incident Reporter

The Problem

Under §124.13, every mitigation action must be reported to DOJ and DHS within 48 hours with four statutory content fields. The IFR adds consolidated, recurring-venue, and persistent-protection report formats plus a semiannual summary. Officers must also confirm 5-minute ATC notification. Paper-based reporting makes this nearly impossible to guarantee.

What It Does

A guided form walks officers through the four statutory content fields with support for all IFR report types. A live countdown timer shows exactly how much time remains. Reports are formatted for submission to the Federal C-UAS Coordination Portal — your agency submits directly.

Key Feature: 48-Hour Countdown TimerA real-time countdown displayed on every open report, turning red when time is running low.
03

Tech Registry

The Problem

Under §124.7, two federal lists govern equipment: the Authorized Technologies List (ATL, categories) and the Authorized Systems List (ASL, specific systems). RF-emitting systems additionally require FCC authorization — not mere coordination. The ASL is being revised on a rolling basis, making manual tracking unreliable.

What It Does

Maintains a complete inventory with ATL category, ASL listing status, and FCC authorization tracking for RF systems. Systems without FCC authorization are flagged and blocked from inclusion in Operations Plans.

Key Feature: ATL/ASL + FCC Authorization TrackingStatus monitoring against both the Authorized Technologies List and Authorized Systems List, with FCC authorization as a separate hard gate for RF-emitting systems.
04

Event Manager

The Problem

Large events like sporting games, concerts, and public gatherings require authorized C-UAS deployment with specific officers and equipment assigned. Coordinating this across teams with proper documentation is complex.

What It Does

Plan events with officer assignments (certified at the required tier), equipment deployment from the ATL/ASL registry, federal coordination tracking, and operational briefing generation — all in one workflow.

Key Feature: Ops Plan GeneratorOne-click creation of a deployment briefing document with all assigned personnel, equipment, and operational parameters.
05

Grant Navigator

The Problem

Billions in federal funding are available for C-UAS programs, but navigating grant eligibility across FEMA, DHS, and state programs is time-consuming. Many agencies miss deadlines or apply for the wrong programs.

What It Does

An 8-question eligibility assessment matches your agency to qualifying grants, ranks them by fit, and helps generate application drafts with your agency data pre-filled.

Key Feature: Eligibility WizardAnswer 8 questions and instantly see which federal grants your agency qualifies for, ranked by match percentage.
